Changes 0.03:

Nod and GDI Engineers now come equipt with 3 repair drones.

Engineers are now twice as hard to kill and run 1.3 times faster.

Avatars are now more powerful. They can also fire while moving and fire at aircraft now.

Riflemen when using their dig-in ability now create a watchtower dig-in hybrid.

Two new colors, Burgundy and Winter.

Zone Troopers can now fire at aircraft.

Obelisks can fire at aircraft now.

New Menu Music.

Black Hands are much more effective.

Shadow teams one hit kill all infantry.

Orcas can attack other air units now.

C&C Retarded v0.01 Released!

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, I've been busy.

I just released, from what I believe, the first mod created using the C&C3 SDK. I hope you all will enjoy this little mod.

All Refineries will give you $500 every 12 seconds.

Cranes can now once again be able to construct base defence structures.

Cranes can now make more cranes.

Cranes now give you as much build space as the Mini MCVs.

Battlecast Primetime Doesn't Suck



Hey guys, I just saw battlecast primetime. http://www.commandandconquer.com/swf/CCTV.html
It's mad nice. BTW They have announced an expansion! Also that the SDK is coming out this month!!
Sound awesome to me. But what really sucks is that my mod was about 3 seconds away from being shown. I hope that my mod will one day make the battlecast primetime...

I hope you all go and watch it. I cannot wait for the SDK...

Late Night Ideas

Hey guys, here are some new ideas I came up with.

  • Once a faction has a tech building up they will be allowed to create their advanced engineer infantry.
    • Scrin - Assimilation Drone
      • They are faster and twice the size of the regular Scrin Engineer.
      • They will be able to mind control buildings but their range to do this is very limited.
      • They are stealth while moving.
      • Only three are allowed to be on the battlefield at a time.
      • They have the special ability to release a pulse of healing energy which will heal all units and vehicles close to the unit.
    • Nod - Black Wrench
      • They have the ability to repair vehicles on the battlefield.
      • Stealth when moving.
      • Can hijack vehicles.
      • Immune to Tiberium.
      • Moves twice as fast.
      • Only six on battlefield max.
      • Can harvest Tiberium.
    • GDI - Engineer 2.0
      • Bionically enhanced to run 5 times as fast.
  • GDI Titan - Phydeaux
    • It's a gigantic juggernaut that requires snipers to fire, but will always 1 hit KO whatever it hits.
    • Only one allowed
    • Costs $10,000
  • During multiplayer your allies will be able to construct from your cranes and mini MCVs.

Wait... It's not an SDK? GOD D*MN IT!



How ya guys doing?

So turns out that the CNC3 announcement was just some kind of a monthly internet show about C&C. Personally, I feel like I was just stabbed in the soul, but that's just me. I'm still hoping for the SDK to come out before school.

Anyway, if you haven't noticed, I just added ads to the site. I hope they aren't sucking the life out of the site too much. I just feel that I should really payback the loan sharks I ow for this new computer I got. Having broken legs can effect the development of a mod more than you think, especially when you do all the work of an entire dev-team. To me the ads are like untaped BLUE Tiberium fields and you're my Scrin extractors. Your interaction with the fields are paramount to the growth of my base. Personally, I'd rather not hear the Scrin AI tell me insufficient 'you know what' every few days or so. If you know what I mean.

Oh yeah I created this really awful poll. If you want to comment on it use this post's comments area.

Ideas:

  • Nothing really... Maybe some kind of new unit or feature. I was thinking "Uber Engi's" for each faction.

Hey guys, tomorrow is the 7th. And you know what that means! An announcement of some sort. I really hope it's an SDK.

Anyway here are some ideas.

  • All engineer units will now come equipped with a repair drone. Meaning that any vehicle close to an engineer will now receive repairs.
  • Ox and Carry-all transports will now be able to transport all vehicles.

Friday Update

Hey guys, only four more days until EA announces their expansion. (or SDK 'OH GOD I HOPE SO')

Ideas

  • Have Kick ASS music like in retarded
  • Youtube tutorials - Like videos showing how to install the mod or do some really kick ass strats
  • Be able to change the starting cash to "Over 9000" AKA 1 billion credits
  • When harvesters die they leave a special kind of tiberium which is worth 3 times as much as green
  • Scrin MCV will now fly at a much higher altitude
  • Nod MCV is stealth while not moving. Construction Yard will remain unstealthed
  • GDI MCV is faster and harder to destroy when not a Construction Yard
  • All infantry heal over time
  • Stealth teams will now be squads of five
  • Stealth teams can now bomb vehicles
  • Fanatics are now only $200 and only take 3 seconds to train
  • Grenadiers now have double the range, 1.5 times as much damage, and train 5 seconds faster
  • APCs are now 1.5 times as harder to destroy
  • Juggernauts now have 1.3 times the range and reload twice as fast
  • GDI Drop pods now drop twice the amount of zone troopers
  • Scrin Vehicles and all harvesters now heal in tiberium
  • Planetary Assault Carriers only require a tech assembler now to be built
  • Mothership moves twice as fast but takes three times as much time to fire its weapon
  • The GDI Rig now deploys and undeploys instantly
  • The Rig will now be twice as powerful and twice as hard to kill
