C&C Retarded 2.7 - The Beta

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that I released a beta of 2.7 that is only downloadable from moddb. The purpose of this beta is to let me know what works and what doesn't work, in order to speed up the production of 2.7.

Please post as much as you can about this version in the comments, give me bug reports and your ideas for changes.

Changelist (tell me which ones don't work):

  • Give Catalyst Avatars the ability to convert other Catalyst Avatars into their army's. (Encourage Catalyst on Catalyst Action)
  • R.O.F. Nurf for Devastator Warships
  • Double the size of Nod's Cloaking Field and let it Also Stealth Vehicles
  • Double the attack power of Sonic Emitters
  • Radar Scan will reveal more
  • Stealth Tanks will deal more damage
  • Rance Costa build time will now be set to 30 seconds
  • Catalyst Avatar build time is now two minutes
  • Build time of Vertigo bombers and Firehawks have been halfed
  • Vertigo AA weapon has been doubled
  • All tech centers take 2 minutes to build and require $10,000
  • Nod Commando can now fire at aircraft and no longer uses c4
  • All Transport vehicles (Ox ect..) get double the health
  • Temple Prime added to Nod Faction, allows huge power and build radius boost.
  • Sniper Drop (GDI) Will now contain twice the snipers
  • All Mammoth Tanks now include 1 Repair Drone
  • Ion Cannon Control Center comes with 3 AA Turrets
  • GDI Tech Center comes with 3 Sonic Emitters
  • Ion Cannon's Prep time is set back to 5 minutes
  • Catalyst Avatar will now require Secret Shrine
  • Rance Costa will now require Armory
  • Shadow Teams fly twice as fast
  • GDI foxholes take half as much time to build
  • Nod and GDI Powerplants can now upgrade without a tech building
  • Catalyst Avatars must have temple prime to be built, and also now have a build time of 5 seconds.
  • Catalyst Avatars will now have a 100 Second Life time (not just the original)

Regrettably I wasn't able to complete the changes in 2.7 by this date. So please bare with me while I try to find time to finish 2.7 and release it.

C&C Retarded 2.7 will be delayed.

Hey guys,
I have pushed back the next release of Retarded to Christmas. This is due to a load of college stuff I've been working on lately.

Here are some new things you can expect thanks to this delay.

  • Catalyst Avatars will now have a 40 Second Life time (not just the original)
  • A new GDI Vehicle - Gunther Lord of the Smackdown
  • Possible new tech tier
  • Much more to come..
In unrelated news, I just got myself a PS3 and I've been playing it non stop. Warhawk, Rock Band, Burnout Demo, Rachet and Clank, Uncharted, and Unreal Tournament 3 FTW!!!! I love my PS3 so much, it's worth every bit of the $300 dollars I spent to buy it. (UBER BESTBUY DISCOUNT FTW)

FPS C&C to be shown in January's Game Informer







The next C&C game will be an FPS which will take place 11 years after Tiberium Wars. January's Edition of Game Informer will include more information about this new C&C Title. Copies of this magazine should be in store shelves soon.

V 2.7 is almost done! Also Send me your Screen Shots!

C&C Retarded 2.7 is underway.

Hey guys, I know that there is a bug in the Rance Costa sniper squad concerning aircraft. That is being fixed for the next version. For now just pretend that the bullets some how dilate time at higher altitudes.

Current list of changes for 2.7
