Epic Structure Invisibility Fix?

I might have stumbled on a temporary fix for the epic structures.

Scrin cultists are invisible if you set "Shader detail" (found under options -> settings-> display tab) to the "low" setting. Just put it up one notch (thats "medium") and tadaa, they are visible!

This should make a lot of people soooo happy, ain't I a sweety?


So yeah, see if that works. If it does then woot.

C&C Retarded: FINAL (WIP)

Hey hey,
With Kane's Wrath on its way I have decided that the new C&C Retarded mod will be the last one for C&C3 assuming that it doesn't have a game breaking bug in it or something. There will be no 2.9 but rather "FINAL".

C&C Retarded: FINAL will include the following (hopefully):

  1. An ingame soundtrack with similar awesomeness to that of Zero Hour Retarded (This will make this mod huge size wise)
  2. A fix to the invisible buildings
  3. A second release which will be called C&C Retarded: FLite excluding the music
  4. and maybe more... If you want something in this, post in the comments or shoot me an email/msn

New Names/Poll

Hey guys, the poll numbers are in. The Kane's Wrath mod from me will be named "C&C: Kane's Retarded". I have also decided to rename the C&C3 mod to "C&C3: Retarded" once Kane's Wrath comes out, to clear up any possible confusion. And due to Red Alert 3 coming out, I have decided to name the Red Alert 3 retarded mod "C&C: Retarded Alert"

Also there is a new poll. There have been some reports of an invisible Temple Prime. Only some people have been getting this error, I would like to know what percentage of you guys get this problem.

  • Better Readme and an HD Promo Video
  • Tib Silos will give $5 a second
  • Shadow Teams will deploy almost instantly
  • Increase Damage from APCs
  • Make Rance Costa only require a command post to be trained
  • Rocket Guys on GDI and Nod will now cost half
  • Epic Structures will have the following
    • Provide Ultimated Power
    • Uber Build Radius
    • Disable Fog of War, see all map
    • Have Health Equivalent of 3 Con Yards/Drone Ships
    • Unlock Uber Units
  • All Final Tier Base defense Structures will have a repair drone hanging around it
  • Fanatics now cost $450
  • Avatar comes preupgraded buildtime 16 seconds
  • More to come.

  • Give Catalyst Avatars the ability to convert other Catalyst Avatars into their army's. (Encourage Catalyst on Catalyst Action)
  • R.O.F. Nurf for Devastator Warships
  • Double the size of Nod's Cloaking Field and let it Also Stealth Vehicles
  • Double the attack power of Sonic Emitters
  • Radar Scan will reveal more
  • Stealth Tanks will deal more damage
  • Rance Costa build time will now be set to 30 seconds
  • Catalyst Avatar build time is now two minutes
  • Build time of Vertigo bombers and Firehawks have been halfed
  • Vertigo AA weapon has been doubled
  • All tech centers take 2 minutes to build and require $10,000
  • Nod Commando can now fire at aircraft and no longer uses c4
  • All Transport vehicles (Ox ect..) get double the health
  • Temple Prime added to Nod Faction, allows huge power and build radius boost.
  • Sniper Drop (GDI) Will now contain twice the snipers
  • All Mammoth Tanks now include 1 Repair Drone
  • Ion Cannon Control Center comes with 3 AA Turrets
  • GDI Tech Center comes with 3 Sonic Emitters
  • Ion Cannon's Prep time is set back to 5 minutes
  • Catalyst Avatar will now require Secret Shrine
  • Rance Costa will now require Armory
  • Shadow Teams fly twice as fast
  • GDI foxholes take half as much time to build
  • Nod and GDI Powerplants can now upgrade without a tech building
  • Catalyst Avatars must have temple prime to be built, and also now have a build time of 5 seconds.
  • Catalyst Avatars will now have a 100 Second Life time (not just the original)
